Joy and mercy? And soda? This sounded too much like something Yuliya might go crazy over. Smiling innocently at Elementa and sitting up straight in my seat, I clapped a hand over Yuliya's mouth. With my free hand, I flipped her textbook to the right page and shoved it into her face, keeping my palm over her mouth. I hoped she wouldn't lick it. She seemed like the sort of person to do that.

Fi laid her head back on her desk with a large thump. "Oh no, oh no, oh no! Please no!" she mumbled to herself. This was one wearing lesson already and they hadn't even done anything yet!

I couldn't help but giggle. I knew it was going to get me into trouble, but I couldn't stop. What I also knew was that the same thing was going to happen that always happened when I laughed too hard. "Ah...ah..." Shoot. This was going to be embarrassing. "Ah-ah-ach-CHOO!"

Although it had surprised me into shock at first, I burst out laughing, and I wasn;t able to stop, to the dismay of most of the population. I began to snort, as I did when I laughed hard and long.
"Nice one, Anna, nice," I managed to get out. After a few more moments, I realized I couldn't stop. Then I knew what it was. One of my old friends called it 'laughing diarea.' Now I knew the agony she went through. As I recalled, the only cure was to solve a math equation, but I hated math, and I didn't want to bother tryin to think up a question. Sooner or later I'm going to have to breathe...I thought.
