Peregrine Alexander rode at a walk upon his horse Vollo. His greaat black steed every so often blowing air out of his nose. The cool morning air lifted his long dark hair and the sun played across his handsome suntanned face.

Yuliya:
I rode quickly on Chornny Samotsvit, enjoying the wind blowing in my face, and the ultimate power of the mare below me. Her black, shining coat looked like a jewel in the light, and her violet eyes flashed like lightning. The wind created by the canter blew my long blonde hair back, along with the folds of my light green cloak.

Fi:
I followed Yuliya on Mabyn at a much slower pace than Yuliya. I wasn't actually out riding with her but I'd decided to go after her as this was my first time riding here. I saw a man on a horse up ahead as well. I thought about calling out but decided against it. Yuliya could start any conversation if she wanted to. I just didn't feel like going up to new people right now. I was quite happy in my own little world.

Peregrine waved at the approaching girl.
"Greetings." He said as he rode up to her. "My I ask your name?" Vollo snorted warily at the horse the girl was riding.

Yuliya:
I was startled slightly but no less, I smiled. People!
"My name is Yuliya Dukhkin'! What's yours?" I asked. I could feel Chornyy Samotsvit tense below me, so I pet her neck to sooth her.

"Peregrine Alexander at your service." Peregrine said. He pushed Vollo over, making him do a side pass so he could be in hand-shaking distance of the girl. He extended his suntanned hand for her to shake. "An honor to meet you, Yulia." He said in a distinct Scottish accent.

"Hi," I said going over to them slowly, I really wasn't a very confident horse rider. I smiled slightly to the two of them and waited to see where the conversation went next.

"This is Vollo." Peregrine said, "His registered name is Cursed Pirate King, but only use it for shows, exhibitions, and joursts. What breed is your mare?" He asked.

Yuliya:
"Well...she's looks Arabian, but she's much bigger, and she runs like a thoroughbred. What about yours? He looks so majestic."

"Thank you." Peregrine said. "He's 1/4 Friesien, 1/2 Holsteiner, amd 1/4 Thoroughbred to be precise. The right mix for a warhorse. The Freisein and Holsteiner for the looks and size, the Thorughbred for the fire and speed, and the Holsteiner for the calm, smart mind."

Yuliya:
"Wow, he's quite a horse. How long have you been riding? I've been riding for a year now, even though I'd loved to have ridden even more."

Fi:
I stared at the other two. Wow, I thought, they know a lot about horses. Well, I am almost a novice, well I am really. I nodded at several points in the conversation, to show I was still interested in the conversation. I was, I just didn't understand a lot of it.

"When I was a baby my parents but me on a horse first thing, as is the tradition of Silmaril Knights. So, I'd say I've been riding all of my life." He said. "16 years and 8 months to be exact." Said, looking over at the new girl. "What's your horse's name?" He asked.
